A key objective of the Partnership is to develop an integrated environmental study process,
which complies with the requirements of the governments of Canada and the U.S.

In Canada, as a member of the Partnership, the Ministry of Transportation of Ontario is moving forward with the development of a Terms of Reference (TOR) for the preparation of the individual environmental assessment. Click here to read more about the OEA TOR.

In the U.S., the Partnership is circulating a Draft Purpose and Need Statement to U.S.
